Picture this... The winter has finally ended, the snow is slowely melting away, the nights are still brisk but the days are consistantly inconsistant, warm and a beautiful 25° one day, then down to 10 again the next. The melting snow from the Alps seeps into the lakes, keeping them quite chilli, even with a wetsuit on. You're stinging for the warm summer weather and jumping into the water in nothing but a pair of shorts or bikini.

Now i'm the first one to admit that when I think of Turkey, I don't immediately think of wakeboarding. However, located just outside of the city of Antalya and a short transfer from the airport lies a little piece of paradise. Not seen from the road and no signs to point it out, this place is a hot spot for everyone wanting that summer feeling when it's not yet summer.
With three lakes to choose from, there's somehting for everyone. The really great part of this place is that it is a destination resort. This means you won't find many day trippers coming out, and that means, no lines nad no waiting!
With the cable open from 9am, glassy runs are always on the cards as most people like a little sleep and late breakfast before starting the day.
With a week of riding and photographing under our belts here, we immidiately felt hooked and booked another week at the end of the summer when the northern European countries start to feel the pinch of Winter coming again.
